Probability and random interfaces

My work connects stochastic processes, mathematical statistical mechanics, and the geometry of random models.

Doctoral research · 2026–2029

Doctoral project: Modèles d’Interfaces en Mécanique Statistique Mathématique.

Supervisor: Arnaud LE NY (UPEC). Co-supervisor: Pierre MONMARCHÉ (UGE).

Based at LAMA and employed by UGE from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with funding from the MSTIC Doctoral School (ED 532). The research lies at the intersection of probability, statistical mechanics, and ergodic theory.

The Long-Range Ising Model in 1D at Inverse-Square Decay

LAMA, Université Paris-Est Créteil, Paris

Supervisor: Arnaud LE NY

A study of the critical magnetisation jump through FK renormalisation and random currents, with a comparison to the inverse-square Discrete Gaussian Chain.

The report reconstructs the Ising renormalisation argument and examines the limits of transferring random-current methods to the discrete Gaussian setting; the motivating open problem remains unresolved.
